SUMMARY:Faithful Innovation at St. Andrew's Hall
DESCRIPTION:What does faithful innovation look like in your context?\nAs we move through and out of the Covid-19 pandemic\, many Christian leaders are wondering what will change and what will be the same in the coming months and years. What kinds of adaptations will we have to make\, and what kind of leadership will this require of us and of the teams we lead? \nSt. Andrew’s Hall is partnering with Cyclical INC to host a webinar called Faithful Innovation\, which is designed to begin a conversation about what it means to move through and out of the pandemic. The conversation will take place in 3 video sessions over 3 weeks: \n\nSession 1 – Wednesday\, May 19\, 11am to 12pm PDT\nSession 2 – Wednesday\, May 26\, 11am to 12pm PDT\nSession 3 – Wednesday\, June 2\, 11am to 12pm PDT\n\nThese video sessions will center around the topics articulated in the book of the same title\, Faithful Innovation: Beginning a Conversation for a Post-Covid Church (Cyclical Publishing\, 2020). Participants are encouraged to buy a copy of the book for themselves and for any teams they lead to get the most out of the three sessions. \nThe changes ahead don’t have to take us by surprise. Register for Faithful Innovation today so you can join a conversation that will prepare you and your teams to lead well through the season ahead. \n \nMore about the speakers:\n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Working out of Vancouver\, Canada\, Andrea Perrett is an Associate in New Worshipping Communities at the Centre for Missional Leadership and is the director of two different Cyclical church planting networks. Previously\, Andrea has created and led a dinner church\, St. Andy’s Community Table and has served at West Point Grey Presbyterian Church in Vancouver. Andrea has an MDiv from Vancouver School of Theology\, is a Registered Dietitian\, and is currently leading a missional community\, the Just As We Are Baking Circle. \n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Matt Brough is the director of CyclcialPCC\, a denomination-wide Church planting initiative of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. He also serves part time as the minister of Prairie Presbyterian Church in Winnipeg\, Manitoba\, hosts a podcast called Spirituality for Ordinary People\, and is an independent author and publisher. His books include Let God Be God\, Let God Be Present\, and a fantasy-adventure series of novels for young readers. \n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Jen de Combe serves as the Associate Secretary of Canadian Ministries for The Presbyterian Church in Canada. During her time in this role the PCC has launched two congregational renewal programs and a church planting support initiative in partnership with Cyclical Inc.  She is passionate about discipleship\, evangelism and starting new churches.  Jen holds a Master of Sacred Theology from McGill University in Montreal.\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Rev. Dr. Ross Lockhart is the Dean of St. Andrew’s Hall at The University of British Columbia.  He is the Professor of Mission Studies at The Vancouver School of Theology where he teaches courses in missiology and practical theology. Ross is the founding Director of The Centre for Missional Leadership and author of Lessons from Laodicea:  Missional Leadership in a Culture of Affluence and Beyond Snakes and Shamrocks:  St. Patrick’s Missional Leadership Lessons for Today.  He lives in North Vancouver with his wife Laura and their three children.\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Nick Warnes (Masters of Divinity\, Fuller Theological Seminary\, Emphasis in Worship Theology and Art) is the Founder and Executive Director of Cyclical. He enjoys the regular pattern and rhythm of being both the Executive Director of Cyclical Inc. and Director of Cyclical LA\, a ministry of the San Fernando Presbytery in Los Angeles. Nick is also a recognized speaker on church planting\, coach for New Worshiping Communities with the Presbyterian Church USA\, and is the chair of the board of the Church Planting Program at Fuller Theological Seminary where he is also an adjunct professor (church planting certificate). Nick finished his first book in 2014 with Dr. Mark Lau Branson called Starting Missional Churches: Life With God in the Neighborhood. Nick was featured in the 2019 IVP release Sent to Flourish: A Guide to Planting and Multiplying Churches\, co-edited the 2020 book Faithful Innovation: Beginning a Conversation for a Post-Covid Church\, and is anticipating the release of his 2021 book release\, Starting Well: The First Four Seasons of a New Church. Nick lives with his wife\, Whitney\, and son\, Lee\, in Los Angeles\, CA.
